An introduction ......

Thanks a lot for even looking at this blog ......... i seriously can't say how thankful i am but if you are a malaysian monster hunter player then you've came to the right place !!!

I got the inspiration to do this blog after seeing one of the other blog that is similar to mine but we share the same goal : To promote monster hunter in malaysia till there is a GH (gathering hall) in malaysia ........ if you are wondering wth is a gh ?? i thought that is a part of the game well it's not ........


This is how the uk gathering hall looks like ....it's practically a place for uk people to gather and play some monster hunter and beside .... look how many people there are !!! Since the psp Monster hunter (MH for short) doesn't have online but there is a third party online server which i will cover on later or if you want to skip the stuff i will say press CTRL + F (X -link kai)

Okay now for the basic concept of MH if you haven't got one It's practically a MMORPG with no internet and leveling system but you might think is suck since there is no leveling system it actually makes the game better ......... Example: In mmorpg you will surely win the boss or something like that just because you are high level and with godly weapon but as for MH it's a different concept ......you need to know the attacks of the boss and get good equipment but assuming you got a bad equipment you still can win the boss but certainly it will be harder than the godly equip user (godly weapon refers to good equip or rare equip that deals high dmg) Why do i say so ? cause if you know the attacks of the boss clear enough you can easily win the boss without getting hit ......and this won't be your average mmorpg cause when you are hurt in the battle during a mmorpg game you just easily heal with potion or stuff like that but in monster hunter you need to wait will the time is right ......since when you use a potion in MH you will sort of just stand there and flex your muscle ......=.='' i dunno why capcom put that but it just add a certain toughness to the game cause you won't be able to do anything when the monster come to your way when you flex your muscle ....

This is the basic set up of the game .......The right upper corner shows you the map while the Left upper corner shows you the time remaining to complete the quest ....but the time given is more than enough and the left bottom corner shows you which item will you use when you press the Square button (while you sword or bow is unsheathed / kept in your backpack or something  

The basic configuration


The configuration is part of a big part of a game ........ you might be wondering if the configuration is hard or messed up or whatever but as far as I'm concern it's a easily understand configuration
        
Square = Keeps the sword or unequip the bow when you are equiping it / use item you are choosing

Triangle=Attacks

Circle=Attacks (when you are equiping a weapon) / carve / gather / Jump to a higher platform when there is a higher platform nearby      

X=Dodge                                              

L= ntg  (you beed to hole L + circle or square to switch between item to use when you press sqaure )

R= Special attack (when equiping a weapon) / Run

circle + square = attack (when equiping weapon)

So basically there is two group to the configuration ...one is while equiping weapon and another one for while not equipping weapon

I'll post this for now first and will update later ...gotta go school T.T

Back .... okay now i am gonna say that this  is not your average game where you can jump around  like in Kingdom hearts or shoot like there is no recoil or anything this game is actually a realistic fantasy game where you play a role of kinda like a human ........... not a average game where you play like a god or something ......

x -link kai

Sadly this game doesn't have any ways to go online to play the game it cal only be played with w -lan which means you must be really near to the person that is playing it but luckily there is an alternative which is x -link kai ....... this program or tunnel software ....whatever you call it ... it allows you to "trick" your psp to thinking the psp you are connected is really near to you cause the information is transfered from your psp to the computer the the computer sends the information to the receiver via internet then lastly to the receiver's psp ....(as for the reason why capcom doesn't want to include the online service .... i have no idea) For more information click  http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/
