It's Out !!! The Monsters are FREE !!!!
As the title have probably suggested that Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is out !!!!
I have played it and tinker with it for a while and realize a lot of changes from the previous monster hunter ...
1.there is a new type of item that is required for equip creation .... ex. in the previous MH there is onli ore,bug,plant,fish . But now there is a new type of item group which is wood .
This is probably a new thing ...or a bad one but for those basic weapon the wood material is easy to find and with just a couple of quest i already got like 10 of those wood material
2.the fishing in the farm is so much easier than the previous MH .... u just go to the fishing pier press square then done and not like in mhfu ...
3.all weapon seem to have a new thing
Gs: there is a new combo : now you can press/hold triangle then realese and tab triangle and triangle again so the new combo is similar to : tap/hold triangle > tap triangle > tap/ hold triangle (note: this is not an infinite chain of combo)
ls: now there is an added combo to the spirit attack last time you can only press R for three time but now you can press it for 4 time and if the final combo hit's the monster your spirit gauge meter changes color (Your Ls also changes color) which suggest that your Ls attacks increases
Lance. : i dont quite know lance that much so i'll try to say all the difference as detailed as possible , first , there is a charge attack for lance which it somehow quite similar to the charge of GS but of course the lance doesn't allow you to charge it to what we call lv 3 charge in gs but instead only lv 1 charge
Gun lance : Gun lance ,...... i haven't try out that weap. yet ... = P but according to the net and almost everywhere , gun lance now also has a charge attack which releases 3 or all (i don't know) shell which is like gun lances new "ultimate attack" beside wyvern fire
Bow: Now bow can unleash an attack which is what i call arrow rain .... (*finally) seriously .... it is pretty cool but not that effective against small monsters , like minions and such ....
Light bow gun:Now there is an added side step
Heavy bow gun :Now heavy bow gun can crouch on the floor and shoot a TON of bullet without reloading
and this is indicated below your "cross hair" when you are aiming while crouching on the floor
SnS : Now there is an added attack to SnS which is an attack that allows you to stun the enemy just like HH and hammer
DS :Practically everything is changed ! (i suggest you watch the video at the end of the post )
SA: I can't consider anything is changed since this is a new weap.
HH : I have no idea ... srry i don't use HH at all
